Masterpiece Theater

No, I’m not talking about the PBS murder mystery show. I’m talking puppets.

As you may remember, we recently designed the logo for Intermountain Children’s Home’s Summer Roundup fundraiser. Tony and I attended the event {it was AWESOME!} and it raised over $100,000!! Well, this morning we got a call from Dana Holzer, the chaplain at Intermountain. Tony and I have actually known Dana for a while, {Random fact: her and her husband helped us with our wedding}, and she called to see if we could put together a quick logo for an upcoming puppet performance. It’s a yearly event, put on for the kids at Intermountain, that has a theme based around a Bible story. This year’s story is Jesus feeding the 5000. Dana’s idea was to do a 50′s diner style theme with the tagline “Seating for 5…thousand?” She had a pretty specific idea of what she wanted {plus they use the same puppet characters in each year’s logo} which made it super easy for me. It was a lot of fun putting this together and great to be able to do another logo for this wonderful organization.

Intermountain’s Summer Roundup Invitations

Yesterday we got the invitation we designed for the Summer Roundup. They could not have turned out better! The colors are beautiful and the whole invite is just gorgeous.
We have had such a great time working with Intermountain Children’s Home to create the logo and materials for this fundraising event. This whole project has quickly become one of my favorite design jobs! We are so thankful to have had the opportunity to support such a wonderful organization.

They grow up so fast…

When Tony and I met and started dating, his brothers were in middle school. Now, seven years later, his youngest little brother, Grady, is graduating high school. It seems like just yesterday he was serving as the ring bearer in our wedding and now he’s all grown up and making college plans.
So to help him celebrate this momentous occasion, we used some of his awesome senior pictures {taken by our good friend Chris, aka Rebo Photography} to create some one-of-a-kind graduation party invitations.

Grady, you are a great brother and uncle and it’s been wonderful watching you grow into the amazing young man you are. We couldn’t be prouder of you and we are so happy for you and excited to see where the road ahead takes you. We have no doubt you will accomplish whatever you set your mind to.

And from me: I’ll never forget how excited you were when you found out Tony and I were getting married. Thanks for welcoming me into your family seven years ago…it’s an honor to be your sister.

Stella Maris Rosaries

Our good friend Laura sells her own handmade rosaries, and she has a beautiful name for them: Stella Maris Rosaries. Stella Maris means “Star of the Sea” and Laura knew exactly what she wanted in her logo. A compass with an old world look, twelve stars circling it, and a rose in the center. Here’s the end result, I think it turned out beautifully!

Pirates at the Settlement Conference

A few weeks ago we were contacted by Dean Blackaby, an attorney here in Helena. He had come across our website and wanted to talk with us about some logo design work. He was in need of a new logo for both his business and the nationwide conferences he puts on. His business, MSP Education/Compliance, needed a modern, professional logo to replace the plain text he was currently using. He also needed a new logo for his conferences. Something eyecatching and creative. You see, he has a very clever theme for these {here’s where it gets totally awesome}: Pirates at the Settlement Conference.

He actually ended up choosing three logos, the MSP logo, the ship logo to use on his return address label and the skull and “crossbones” to use as the main logo and cover for his conference manual. This was a really fun job because we got to design two very different logos! We had a great time designing these and are looking forward to doing more work with Dean in the future.

Ashley here, back with another band poster we designed for our good friend Kevin as well as a couple of updates!

It’s been crazy busy around here the last few weeks! We have been greatly blessed this year with an abundance of work and it’s been a lot of fun watching our business grow. Be on the lookout for more posts coming soon, including some more logo designs {one involving Pirates} and the invitation designs for the Intermountain Children’s Home Summer Roundup.

As for Kevin Koutnik and the Protectors, they will once again be putting on a show, this time in Helena. Check them out next week, along with Tree House and Regan Clancy, at Gamepods!
